What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved acting and dressing up as different characters. Getting to play make-believe for a weekend at a time is a great way to break away from the stress of day-to-day life.
What was your first costume and why?
Cagalli Yula Attha. It was relatively simple to do, given my then-inexperience with costume and wig designs, and I loved her character.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Zatanna Zatara. Because I love how she was portrayed in Young Justice, and it was the most challenging outfit I've sewn yet.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Mulan. Her designs are gorgeous, and even though I'm not Asian, I would still love to try portraying her someday.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being adopted into every YJ crew I run into while dressed as "Den Mother" Black Canary.
