What got you into cosplay?
When I went to my first two anime conventions (Katsucon 13 and Otakon 2007) many people were having fun their costumes, so naturally I wanted to do it.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Kensuke Aida from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It took me about two weeks to find the right clothes but in total I spent $22 dollars. In addition I made a ID card of the character using Paint.net, because since I'm wearing normal-like clothes it's going to be hard for people to know who I am. Anyway the reason why I selected him is because he's a military otaku similar to me being a political and video game otaku. I wore two forms of the costume: School style and informal style.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Only had my first cosplay experience, so currently I do not have a favorite costume

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being photographed by a professional photographer.

Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently a sophomore student in the University of Maryland, College Park studying for a B.A. in Politics and Government. I'm also writing a book but I have not writing a bit about it yet.
