What got you into cosplay?
Sailormoon- I was completely in love with the story.
What was your first costume and why?
Nehelenia- I love tragic evil queens, what can I say?
What is your favorite costume and why?
Shirobarahime- I love the citrussy colors and pastel feel of it all. All my costumes I love in one way or another :)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Arabia no Bara- Orihime's grand dress from Sakura Taisen, Something totally insane from Takarazuka.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplaying in Japan at both Seramyu and the Sakura Taisen live Kayou shows. Getting to try on Takarazuka costumes at Salon de Takarazuka
Do you participate in masquerades?
rarely- I usually judge.
What was your best masquerade experience?
PMX doing the Elisabeth Skit with some of my closest buds geking out to Takarazuka :)
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes... I don't remember them all and I'd feel a little pompous listing them.
Tell us a little about yourself
Full time student pursuing secondary education at UNLV for political science/history. Worked full time as a professional costumer for shows on the strip for about 5 years before going back to college. Now I do school and work full time. One day, I want to teach high school students and make History and politics fun :)
I am a member of CosWorx, LLC in Las Vegas where I work with Kyle (Admin). I still go to conventions as a guest and love to cosplay. CosWorx lets me help other cosplayers get the very best things to complete their costumes and I am proud to be a part of it!
