What got you into cosplay?
I've always been interested in making my own clothes and that eventually led into costumes. I love wearing things that are whimsical or fantastic.
What was your first costume and why?
Rikku from FFX. That was my favorite game when I was getting ready for my first real anime convention. Rikku is still my favorite character from FFX and FFX-2.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far I'd have to say my Reira Serizawa costume since it came out perfectly.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first real anime convention, Katsucon 2002. It was my first time being around so many people who shared my interests.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet but I really want to!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a senior at the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. My concentration is costume/wearable art.. which is also my hobby. I spend all my time sewing! I also enjoy karaoke and video games.
