What got you into cosplay?
Well, I didn't really know too much about cosplay until I started looking at pictures from cons in 2003. It just looked like so much fun, dressing as your favorite characters and interacting with other people who were dressed up too, that I had to do it. ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Yukino Miyazawa from Kareshi Kanojo No Jijyo (His and Her Circumstances), because I love that character and series so much! ^_^ plus, it was a relatively simple costume to make for a first time cosplayer.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Ed Elric. I've spent four years perfecting the costume, props, and roleplaying.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Made Alphonse Elric (Armor version) for AnimeBoston 2007.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I was buying a pack of cigarettes while dressed as Ed Elric, and came out of the store with the pack in one hand - and ran right into someone cosplaying Tricia Elric. I immediately whipped the pack behind my back.
"Ed! What was that!"
"What?"
"That behind your back!"
At this point I made a run for it, and she followed, hitting me over the head with a paper fan all the way across the street and back into the convention center.

I have a major in English Lit with a double minor in art and creative writing. As far as hobbies... I love to read, write, draw, sing, travel, watch anime and play video games, cook, and make AMVs.
