What got you into cosplay?
My love for anime. Also, I kept seeing it on the Internet and going "UGH, I WANNA DO THAT."
What was your first costume and why?
I just threw something random together. I didn't know how to sew at the time so it's all I could do. This was back at Anime South 2006.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far it's Simon from Gurren Lagann, though it's a little difficult to wear, I really love how it turned out.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yeah, quite a few. But I can't make them until I push my sewing skills to a higher level. I'm trying really hard to get better at advanced sewing. I'm taking lessons and asking for advice. I think it's really helping.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably cosplaying Ashley at EXPcon 09 and cosplaying Aelita at Megacon 09.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I would like to someday.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A couple small things. But not anything big.
Tell us a little about yourself
Surprisingly, I'm a sophomore in High School. I don't like how people judge me from my age, so please understand that I'm a cosplayer just like you. Everyone in my family are geeks. My hobbies are drawing, gaming, and sewing.

Shadow of the Colossus, all of the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series, Rule of Rose, Haunting Ground, ICO, KH2, Soul Calibur series, the list goes on.

Other than manga, not that many actually.

Hm...I don't know. There's a lot of characters I like.

LOTR, Resident Evil, most comedy related movies.
