What got you into cosplay?
I've always liked dressing up, but it was anime that got me into cosplay. I like that fact that you can dress up like your favorite characters.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume Lady Une from Gundam Wing. It was a really crappy closet cosplay though. I only wore it for Halloween.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite is Murrue from Gundam SEED. She's one of my favorite characters of all time, I'm surprised how well it actually turned out!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I plan on doing a cosplay from every Gundam series.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
3. When my line buddies at Fanime '06 recognized my costume.

1. Meeting Yun Kouga (character designer for Gundam 00) at Anime Expo '09 and having her tell me that I did a wonderful job on my Sumeragi costume. :D
Do you participate in masquerades?
I don't normally participate in masquerades, but my university's anime club was planning on a forming a cosplay group skit in 2007. We ended up foregoing the actual masquerade.

Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with degrees in Japanese and Spanish. My main hobby is collecting Gundam and X-Files stuff. I'm really into J-Pop (especially Ayumi Hamasaki and Hello!Project), and I also play the flute. I have one brother, two dogs, and one cat.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm sorry that in a few of my older photos here, I have my glasses on. I sometimes forgot to take them off when I'm having my photo taken.
