What got you into cosplay?
I've always liked dressing up, but it was anime that got me into cosplay. I like that fact that you can dress up like your favorite characters.
What was your first costume and why?
Technically, my first costume Lady Une from Gundam Wing. It was a really crappy closet cosplay though. I only wore it for Halloween, many eons ago.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite is Murrue from Gundam SEED. She's one of my favorite characters of all time, I'm surprised how well it actually turned out!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I plan on doing a cosplay from every Gundam series.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting Yun Kouga (character designer for Gundam 00) at Anime Expo '09 and having her tell me that I did a wonderful job on my Sumeragi costume. :D Also meeting Erina Mano at Club2theMAX 2010.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I don't normally participate in masquerades, I've participated in a hand few of costume contests.
What was your best masquerade experience?
The Dating Game skit my group did at Sac-Con December 2010.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Judge's Choice at Sac-Con December 2009 for Misa Hayase, 3rd place in the Davis Anime Club's Halloween Cosplay Contest for Murrue Ramius (Orb Uniform), Judge's Choice at Sac-Con March 2010 for Haru Miura (Choice Uniform), plus some skit performance awards.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a strange young woman whose main hobbies are watching anime/TV/movies, reading books and manga, listening to music, surfing the internet, learning new languages, and cosplay. I am basically a geek/nerd/dork, with a Bachelors of Art degree in Japanese and Spanish, and I have a Masters in Library and Information, with a concentration is archival studies. My all-time favorite anime is Gundam, and I have seen every series. I love the original Mobile Suit Gundam as well as Gundam SEED. I love all most every Gundam series (yes, that includes both UC and AU series). My top favorite characters are Murrue and Mwu and Mirai and Bright. My favorite non-Gundam anime series is probably Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The other fandom that I'm into the most is Downton Abbey. I also love The X-Files, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Avengers, Avatar/Korra etc. I'm really into J-Pop, especially Hello!Project, and also the Eurovision Song Contest.

I'm sorry that in a few of my older photos here, I have my glasses on. I sometimes forgot to take them off when I'm having my photo taken.
