After graduating college I had free time after work to rack up many pleasant hours in front of the TV watching anime (thank you, NetFlix!). I've always loved the storylines and all the fanart associated with the characters, so the next logical step was to attend a con. I started back into photography during Katsucon in February 2008 after attending Anime USA 2007 because I was inspired by the detail in so many of the cosplays I saw, not to mention the fact that the vast majority were hand-made. I have a lot of respect for that kind of dedication. Unfortunately, I'm not talented with cloth, sewing machines, or glue guns.

Instead, I decided I would try to give back to the people who have worked so hard at their craft by taking the best pictures I can. Hopefully, it's considered a fair exchange =)

Since I'm based on the east coast of the US, you'll most likely see me at the major cons in this area. I'm the dude in the tan cargo pants with the toilet bowl/paintball hopper thing on the end of his flash. If you see me, feel free to holler!

What got you into cosplay?
Actually, I'm a photographer. I just started taking pictures at Katsucon 14 (2008), so I'm a newb. But, I've attended several cons in the past couple years, and they gave me the inspiration to get back into photography.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Otakon 2008 walking around with Kagomechann as Midna, who got mobbed. It was awesome. I also really enjoyed doing my first few photoshoots.

Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal Panic, Heat Guy J
My favorite game(s)
Orange Box, Call of Duty 4....there are way too many. I like playing RPGs but I always seem to dump them 3/4 way through because I get tired of level-grinding my character.
My favorite book(s)
Lord of the Rings. I also like reading non-fiction educational stuff every once in awhile. I like to be either entertained or learning a new skill, but preferably both at the same time.

Souske Sagara - I can only aspire to be so utterly oblivious, yet so damnably cool at the same time!
My favorite movies(s)
Top Gun. The star of that movie was actually Val Kilmer's hair.
