Whoo! Mermaid Melody time!

Sana-chan showed me Mermaid melody a little while ago, and I got totally hooked on it. I found an awesome wig online that would be perfect for Hanon, and as much as I wanted to do Hanon's Live Start costume for AX, I knew I couldn't squeeze another costume in before then. I bought the wig anyway, and I started seeing her little casual sundress pop up in a bunch of episodes, and I spazzed! I knew I could make something like that very easily and quickly, so I hit up Joann's and made this costume in a night!

i360 was holding a photoshoot in Van Nuys this weekend since the sakura were in bloom (though you can't see any here... ;_; Trust me, they were gorgeous!!!), and so I wanted to wear this costume, but Sana-chan was like, "aw, man, now I want to make casual Luchia now to go with your casual Hanon!" So me, Sana-chan and Richii all went to different stores and bought different things for Sana-chan's costume and managed to throw the whole costume together the day before the shoot. WOOT!

These costumes are really simple, but jtnishi's AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHY really makes the costumes pop out! Maybe next time Richii can join us as Riina~!
