Again, one of those "I really need to be working on a final assignment ... but I'm not" moments. This was my final assignment for my last costume class of my university career. =..( I know, Luna isn't very elaborate for a final assignment, but I was under tight budget constraints and had to make something mostly from materials I already had.

Luna was actually the second costume I ever planned to make (right after Mime back in 2003), but it got put on the back burner before I ever had a chance to work on it properly. Because of the assignment criteria I ended up having to buy extra material in the end anyway, which is the OMG!YELLOW! that you see in this picture. The right side of the material is actually some sort of stretch satin, but I hate satin, so I used the wrong side of the material on purpose. I think the final fabric choice is why I'm not in love with my costume, so I'm seriously considering finishing this (yes, I am aware that it's missing a lot of stuff, but I pretty much built 3 days before it was due and just didn't have time to do all the fiddly details that I wasn't getting marked on anyway) properly and then seeing if I can sell it. I really need rent money ...

Well, even though it's kind of half finished, I managed to get 90% on this project, so I guess I did okay ... I think ... It need more foof though ...
