So after many years of contemplating the idea of a Saint Seiya cosplay.... I finally made it. I grew up watching Saint Seiya (back in Venezuela), and I had always thought that the characters were REALLY freaking awesome. I had recently found the series in Japanese....... which made all of my Saint Seiya fandom return. ANYWAYS, I made the armor out of foamies and tacky glue. It was inexpensive, but it was so much fun to be Aphrodite!!!. I just felt like a kid again XD. The only thing was that it warped a bit in the car (you can thank Florida heat for that one) and being in armor out in 90 degree weather is not very comfy!. But other than that, I loved cosplaying this character, and i'm looking forwards to wearing it again ^__^.
