So, only because I'm insane would I attempt a ridiculous and tacky costume like this. For the majority of you who have no idea what this is, it's an Ayumi Hamasaki (Japaneses pop star) costume from her 2006-2007 Countdown Live concert (as well as her Arena 03-04, but we won't go into that ...). The nick name for this particular costume is "The Dress That Ate The Stage". Yeah ... I'm insane.

If I remember correctly, there's 12 layers of ruffles in my skirt ... and there are ruffles attached to the ruffles ... :: sigh :: Basically, I was trying to get this costume done for Fan Expo this past weekend, but even after barely sleeping or eating for a week in order to get it done, it didn't end up happening. So now I have to take it apart and fix everything that I did poorly in a rush, and figure out if there's a convention in the near future that I can drag this sucker too at some point ... Oh, and excuse the shitty camera phone pic. 'Tis all I've got. DX
