I thought of this idea earlier this year. I wanted to do Princess Sora, but I decided that that didn't make sense. And then I thought Princess Kairi! She IS one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, so that's make so much sense and it'd be really cute.

I tried to make her costume Disney Princess-like, but at the same time, I wanted to make it Kairi-like and Kingdom Hearts-like. Hence, the sandals (I painted my toenails the same purples as the ones on her regular shoes). I also made the Kingdom Hearts crown. Finally, though it's heard to see in this picture, the skirt has slits on the side like Kairi's regular outfit.

I tried to make the costume in the same colors as her regular outfit (Like, the wrap is purple and the bodice is white and black, just like her top).

Even though my wrap and belt decided to be lame during the convention, I got a lot of compliments. ^_^
