Tige asked if I could make the hairpins for his Kyoraku costume. They look quite different in the manga -- more like pinwheels than the vaguely floral things they look like in the anime -- and this was as close as I could get; not perfect, but still happy with 'em.
I made the pair, but never got a picture (pre-cosplay) of the second one. Two squares of fabric, folded by origami and pressed with a steam iron (almost burned my fingers several times) and glued into place, with a nail-polish-lacquered shish kebab stick as the pin. (There was a tea-dyed silk scarf to go with them, too.)
