I didn't have much time to do the pack, which was unfortunate since this was my first fiberglass attempt. So, it's a bit pitted and uneven in places because I could not give it the attention this material requires for a smooth finish. Oh, well.

Will be making a new pack for MegaCon. Ideas that will be ported over to the new design:
* Sippy cup and foam rings for the battery terminals
* Vinyl cutout for the cross icon, but this time to include the circle, too

I used the back of a cheap life vest for the harness on this one. I'm going to rip out the foam and reuse it in the new harness system.

A tip to my fellow medics: if your pack is anything heavier than foamboard, you will probably not be able to attach the straps directly to your belt; the weight is just too much for it to fit snugly and your belt will migrate from your waist to your chest. This was a design problem I encountered late in the game, and modified the arm straps as if they were for a school backpack.

Also: even though the mockup was a perfect size, it became a bit too large for me after the layer of fiberglass/bondo got added. So, next version needs to start out smaller.
