I was just reading your boot cover tutorial (awesome by the way!), and I'm just curious as to how exactly you made these? Did you just glue fabric over another boot? how do you get it to look so seamless (fabric to sole)??

The base boots were fabric, so I pinned the cover to them, turned the edges under and then hand-sewed them to the very edge where the boot meets the sole. You need a curved needle for this but the result is virtually invisible!
Those boots are a dream come true o.o I found this pic making a google search for ragnarok mage, I want to do her, and i hope my boots will look at least a lil bit like yours n.n
Boot covers aren't actually that hard, especially if you use stretchy fabric (somehow I always end up using non-stretchy...-.-;; )
Use two pieces of scrap fabric, one on either side of your leg, and pin them together where the seams will be. Mark the seams and where the sole of the shoe is, then use that as a pattern. ^_^
How, oh how, do you make boot covers? Much less making SHOES? These are just... amazing ^_^
They look great! I'm sure it must have been very time consuming and frustrating too.
that's AWESOME!! I always have such admiration for those who can do shoes! lol all of your costumes are AMAZING!!! beautiful work^.~
you are going to cosplay the Mage!! that's great.. it's in my wish list somewhere.. along with the hunter..
