Okay so this is taking forever. Perhaps deciding to do this costume one month before the con was a bit of a mistake. Only one more week to worry about it.

This is as stated, about 75% completion. It still needs buttons and things to hold everything in place and all the fancy details that go across the front, and I need to shape the front of the shirt a little. And yes...those are Zaft boots from Gundam Seed..I need to work on the boots a little too.

But this is the progress I have so far. Everything is handpainted and 90% of the costume is handsewn because when I was using the machine on the shirt the machine started to make funny noises and so I ran away XD I'm not used to using machines to I think I'll just stick to handsewing for awhile longer.

For those that don't recognize the outfit it is one of the chapter page outfits that Fai from Tsubasa wears. It is in Volume 4 of the manga and having to make up the design for half the costume is a bit of a challenge. But I guess that is what makes cosplay fun, creative liscence.

Its huge, I feel slightly rediculous in it right now, but hopefully when its all done I'll be happy with it XD For now...its panic time.
