Finally, progress! The beading was finished New Year's Eve. The overskirt was assembled New Year's Day. I look kind of thick in this dress because the overskirt is pinned to the bodice, so the gathers and pleats aren't flattened yet. I have to finish the sleeves, scallop the overskirt, attach the overskirt, add the bows on the front. I personally hate the bows, but the reference requires them. :/ I'm making them removable so that there's no bows on the wedding dress. I also need shoes, to make the jewelry, and wait for the wig that will so graciously be styled by VampiricMosaic. I also need to get my great-grandmother's pearls re-strung for the wedding version. (So much to do still! @.@ )
