I don't usually acknowledge the existence of Samurai X: Reflection (also known as Seisouhen), since I think it's blasphemy to Rurouni Kenshin, but the sakura were in bloom in Van Nuys and I was desperate for a costume to wear. I was originally going to wear Battousai!Kenshin, but my wig didn't arrive in time, so I slapped a turquoise kimono together at the last minute and wore this.

Despite the fact that I don't like the idea of Reflection being part of Ruroken canon, the movie on it's own is really gorgeous (and OMGSAD), and this costume was surprisingly appropriate for the sakura, so... I'll grit and bear it. And enjoy the pretty photos. XD

P.S. Kenshin's scar is basically gone at this point, so I didn't put one on, in case anyone was wondering.
