I've been lazy with cosplay lately. Even given the fact that I have virtually my whole costume to make before ACEN in 47 days!!! But, since Forcebewitya is in Florida for the week, and I'm not being distracted by watching BattleStar Galactica at his house, I've been getting a lot done lol. I ordered my wig, (woot! First wig!) my new ears, and some L.E.D.s for my mask. (with pre-wired resistors because I don't want to deal with that lol.) The Electro-Luminescent panels I ordered were far too dim, so I am trying alternatives, but I've got a plan!

SO, back to this picture and what it is. This is my Master Sword draft with the scaling plan for the sheath in tracing paper on top of it. (I wish I had a giant light-box, I hate tracing paper .v_v. ) The right side of my Master Sword draft is the original art style and what I'll probably end up gong with. The left side is the sharper, longer, in-game version. But of course, I have to be difficult and go with the artwork which CHANGES CONSTANTLY. Videogame artists don't give a damn about cosplayers. They just draw whatever the hell they feel like from one picture to the next!

However, for the sheath I'll be doing the Brawl version, since it's essentially the same save for more raised accents and fewer rivets. I took about 30 snapshots during Brawl as references for the sword and sheath lol. So painstaking getting that all right. .v_v.
