I've been waiting for my awesome, amazing, 44" Sailor Mars wig for awhile, and it got here a couple hours ago along with a bunch of wigs for commission. I'm a horrible person, the first thing I did was put it on and spin around laughing madly.
(good thing no one's home)

ANYWAYS. Then I doused it in sharpie dye- it doesn't do anything except add a nice, purple shine to it in the light. POINTS FOR ORIGINALITY~

Then styled it, blah blah.

YEAH. I used flash in all these photos, so the wig's like WHOA PURPLE, but I assure you, it's very much black.
