Here's a view of the wig from the side, after the bangs were cut. The next step after cutting the bangs was to separate the remaining hair into two layers, half of it to be twisted up into a spiked up half-updo and the rest to be layered and left falling down.

Throughout this whole process I only used one kind of hair scissors to cut the wig, as I didn't have any other kind (thinning shears or razors, etc.)
