Finally, a shot of the back of the wig. The toughest part involved trying to cover up the ponytail band in the back that I used to separate the upper and lower halfs, and to create enough spikes to go around in a circle....because Cloud 9's hair doesn't just fan around in a semicircle in the back....the spikes just sprout out 360 degress.... =3= Which is ridiculous considering the length of the spikes.

So that meant I had to make a bunch more wefts from the hair I had hacked off, and then sew glue it on to the base of the pony tail to create enough spikes to fan around in a circle. Fun times. After leaving the wig alone for a day for all the hairspray and glue to dry, I undid the braid and layered it off into a "V" shape to complete the styling process.

A note on my "styling process"; most of this wasn't planned or researched. I used Kukkii-san's tutorial for making wig wefts, but the cutting and especially the spiking part pure guesswork. Meaning, I basically went "OH HAY LET'S SEE IF THIS WORKS LOLOL" and crossed my fingers and hoped it wouldn't fail too badly.

There's a few things I would've changed/done better if I had to start anew, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with it :3 When layering off the bottom layer I kinda went too far and made it a bit too short (only goes down to shoulders instead of mid-back) so will be waiting for cosworx to come out with hair extensions to amend that.
