My sisters and I have been long time fans of the mockumentary "Otaku no Video," and when we set out this year for our skit where we had to be "older" characters, I thought Misty May would be perfect! After all, the name for our performance group "Ota-Queens" comes from the movie's title song. Anyway, Misty May is so adorable, how could I not pass it up?

I definately love the ears on this costume, they didn't take that long to make and I love how obnoxiously LONG they are ^^; The only thing I regret is not finishing the wand--it was in the hotel room but it was just too craptastic to actually walk around with ^^;; I really need to get some better shots of this, the logisitics behind the costume are so interesting and there are some little details that I adore! Thanks be to SailorGaia who kept me sane and helped SO MUCH with the "Nagi swimsuit" it was....educational, to say the least!
