One of the stupidly retarded details that I was anal enough to notice was the fraying along the top of Selphie's dress. The only fabric that I could think of that frayed *nicely* was denim, so that's what I chose to make this dress out of. Unfortunately, you can't simply buy yellow denim at Joann's, so I bought white denim and double-dyed it (needed to do it twice to get the bright yellow color). Thankfully, the fabric I bought already had a frayed edge to it, so I used that to my advantage rather than spending an unholy amount of time trying to fray the fabric myself.
