UPDATE: I have recently moved the upper suspenders. They are now 2inches out from the center point. The bottom suspenders are still in the same spot.

To keep the pack secured to myself I looped regular black suspenders in 3 cuts in the back. You may be asking, "why aren't the suspenders in the middle of the pack?" You'd be wrong. Including the transformers and the blue extinguisher, the straps are measured exactly in the middle of the pack. I have thus tested this rig and it does work! I have not tested it with the hose attached yet, which will actually help a slight imbalance.
