Chamber Theater Play is like role-playing but requires progressive costumes, props and sound/light effects and a wide stage but the preparation of chamber theater requires a lot of time and effort... month was the best described to prepared everything for a chamber theater... It almost the same with stage play but in chamber theater you don't need everything to be real... like dying hairs and very expensive clothes and best quality effects and sounds manipulation.
The Drama Play
As for me, not everything in the plan was done.... I mean everything really changed as we performed in stage and many people was watching us. Why? It was us who perform the first ANIME themed drama in our college school and as we all know those other groups perform the regular themes like romance, family problem, humor etc. Everyone really eagered to know the Naruto Shippuuden story* ( That time our country was airing only the Naruto and Shippuuden I think, was still on dubbing process).
I admitted some of my members felt nervous and as the moment we performed, some of them really forgot the lines but whew, we're thankful 'coz my sensei even the judges don't have our scripts so they thought thay everything was part of the drama... (geez!)
In the end, we're almost ran out of chakras hehe... I mean oh boy! it's done!... Everyone appreciated our drama and what most unforgettable was they were impressed ( Eventhough in my side I'm not satisfied but thanks to the effects, costumes, props and sound everything covered the mess) and they voiced out that our group was UNIQUE!* ( That was our group goal! Yipee! We got it!) They even got surprised knowing that the akatsuki cloaks were just made of trash bags and cartolinas hehe.... OVER!
Clothings/ Props/ Effects and Sounds

I remember that instead of searching for so expensive clothings to don and to present the essence of England people...I had some anime look-a-like stuffs so I check my room to search those clothes that could saw in anime like the following:
For Naruto: Black turtle-necked long sleeve
For Sakura: Red sleeveless buttoned shirt,a long black cyling and a gray short skirt
Kakashi: A vest where I bought it for my own OC Okami garments collection.
Deidara: Small kimono and short tokong, pair of sandals
Sasuke: White yukata and black pants
12 year old Sasuke: Blue high collared shirt and my tennis white shorts

I had only one Akatsuki cloak and I tried to buy the other cloak to my friend but I saw no free time to meet him... even I try to sew new cloaks... It's impossible to finish all the nine cloaks within one week... so with our group funds... I decided to buy high graded TRASH CAN BAGS XL and some red cartolinas... From it a created a akatsuki cloaks for my groupmates and to be fair... I didn't wear the real cloak so that we could show our artistic ideas to the judges and audiences.
Zetsu's costume was a little bit hard to created and I just used a green cartolina from it and slightly crumpled some parts of it.After the costumes, I worked with the back drops.... this is very easy for even it was composed of 9 manila papers in each set- the forest, cave, the sealing statue and the valley. I also created Deidara's creative bombs and even Hiruko's tail. Even I do almost everything they still shown effort in everything they do. I've also gave them a chance to try like painting the back drops, creating red clouds for the cloaks and assembling large caterpillar model etc. What's the meaning of being a group if it didn't do it together right?
Characters:
As I check and got the stuffs... Next, I sat to my own table and jot down my members who could possibly cosplay the casts of the Shippuuden. It's hard to pick a mem to pair the appearances and traits that match the characters. For Deidara, since this character with his Sasori no Danna are the main cast for the story, some of my mems prefer and chose me to play the character since they knew that I'm an anime artist/freelancer and who adores the essence of art so to lessen the problem I accept the task. Next, for Naruto.... hmm... I have a hard time to choose who could play with this since Naruto in the script isn't that goofy and clumsy... he was serious and angry.
I really think this matter a million times before I came to the final line up. We should have Sasuke and I have less time to decide this one 'coz Jansen looked like an anime with his hair style... ( a la PAIN-sama!) but I really think playing Sasuke soothed himself better but at the end, we remove Sasuke in script in the reason of Jansen's absence.
Scripts:
At first, we decided to play the PRINCE AND PAUPER story by Mark Twain yet the time and costumes aren't that attainable so, as the leader of the group even though it's so risky to change the whole scripts, I'll still try ( * it was just two weeks before the presentation for our exam and our sensei changed the limit of presentation from 3 hours to 1 and half hours only).
The new scripts I made was composed of three segments: The spoiler part " Those Eyes.. ", a story that tell how Deidara joined the Akatsuki Organization, the second part was the Introduction/ Characters performance & dance part and last, the rescue Gaara part where I edited the scripts over the real episodes. This last part was originally relied on Shippuuden series from " Gaara's Death " to " Break in! Button Hook Entry" episodes.Since each group had a limited number of members, I decided not to include the scenes where Team Guy exist and only point the story to the Akatsuki's conversation after the sealing ceremony until the successful entry of team Kakashi up to the last scene where Deidara and Sasori faced the Konoha shinobis and urged about the true arts.
At first, it should be the scenes that can be found in the first installment of Shippuuden the spoiler segment where Naruto and Sasuke meet again... reminiscing the past incidents up to the controlling of Kyuubi's chakra inside Naruto's body but as Jansen, who will play the Sasuke role was absent and it's vague if he could catch with us in every practice our sensei decided to eliminate him in our group... ( " It's very hard for me to handle that kind of situation since every practice wasn't improving after all and now, our group had only 6 members active, one eliminated and the rest unknown).
Practices:
I always called for a practice including the manipulation of sounds and effects plus the dance steps for the intro " Hero's come back " theme song. The dance steps had finished first and now, we practiced for the whole scripts. Not all my members had mastered the dialogues so I just told them that they could altered the lines as long as it has the same point from the original.
One of my problems encountered was, the punctuality and as a leader who had a very complex principles in life... It came to the point that I got angry to them and I realized that we shouldn't continue the performance for our final exam yet, I decided too, that I could play alone since monologue was still acceptable for the exam. ( * I prepared a monologue scripts that it should perform inside our classroom but as the sudden change of schedules, it didn't continue so our sensei decided that it could be better if it done with group!so the CHAMBER THEATER DRAMA PLAY born!).But they apologized and of course improved a little.
Next, the voice alteration since my whole group mems were mostly female so as the one who had an experience in drama play... I taught them how to change voices and be precise of using it. I also taught them to feel and imagine that they were the real cast playing on set. Battling was one of my problems too, since we uses a real long metal flat sword for Kisame and a hard wooden takibunais and large shuriken... we really took precautions on using them... knowing that we could get hurt if we won't.
For me, two weeks wasn't enough to get all the things perfect and I knew that not all people could even mastered the scripts in just one day. I had already knew that this wasn't a nice performance but still I always told them to give their best since this was an individual grading systems. Every break time we took, I could manage to told stories of my past experiences on play... since I'm in highschool with my twin nee-chan and fellow guildsmen from online gaming freaks up to music and anime fanatics, as I remembered there a lot of times that we formed a little role-playing about anything. That was my start on improving as a perfomer and gained a little knowledge on drama plays plus a music lover ,too.
FUN FUN Moments
* The story was mostly in battle situations and as one of the performers... I need to adjust everything for myself. Besides of performing I needed them to share my ideas on effects/ sounds plus the lighting effect and the closes/open curtain section. That time, I really desparately said that, " Geez, If I could only know how to use kagebunshins maybe I could do everything at the same time! ". Well, we just laugh after I said it even how tiresome and busy we are... then after a 10-minutes break back to practice again.
* First part that me and the three akatsuki came... This was surely unforgettable moment for me since I never expect that I could missed my seriousness on the set.
That was the part where Deidara showed and explained proudly his masterpiece with a clay spidy in his left arm... Geez, I admitted that I'm the one who created that props but as I delivered the lines I couldn't helped my self not to laugh when I tried to release the spidy from the belt bag and I kept on speaking...but the spidy didn't quickly got out from it... it's feet got stuck on the bag!( I almost end saying my lines when that baka but kawaii spidy props finally came out! )
*We were all serious on practicing the second part when Melvin pronounced "JINCHUURIKI " to "JINCHUCHURIKI"... ( He was one of fast speakers so that's that! teehee! Everytime I remember this I couldn't help myself not to laugh)
* I also noticed that they were lacked of emotions and feelings on how they delivered the lines but as the days went by they improve a little. I never missed to teach them how should they reacted on every situation of the story especially the one with Naruto shouting at Gaara. At first I just laugh, as Edward threw the lines and how he reacted with the scenes. Even how he threw the large summoned shuriken at Sasori ( * Man, that was weird! Thousand thanks there were no digicameras & cameras too hehe!) Plus, Alvin stopped Edward from attacking the two akatsukis... we all laughed too... (* Yay, what was that? As i remembered Kakashi was infront of the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki and spread his right arm just to stop Naru-chan but as Alvin performed it was completely different and funny! Peace!)
