Allen is not really a character I would normally choose for myself, but when I found out that two of my friends were planning Escaflowne costumes I started to think about who I could cosplay. While normally a TALL character like Allen would be out of the question for me, Straywind and Pan-Chan are even shorter than me so I guess it worked out haha.

This costume was a lot of fun to make, even though sewing without a pattern is pretty difficult. I nearly destroyed the vest portion of the costume because I failed to measure my hips properly ^^;. As a result it is not particularly accurate but... SHH! And there are tons of hotglue and frayblock stains on this costume, but they are conveniently hidden under all of the various layers XD...

Oh and did I mention I HATE the wig? It hurt me XO
