3 months to make out of foamboard, hobby foam, vinyl applique, LED lights, polystyrene plastic sheeting, and lots of hot glue. Spent a total of 8 hours straight in it, and had some nice breaks to cool down sometime after that before proceeding onto Masquerade Photo stage for more pictures but not actually competing. Probably the hardest most difficult prop I've made and I'm quite proud of it because it's also the first costume I've ever made for myself.

Bumblebee debuted at San Diego Comic-con International 2008 for all of Saturday and will be completely retrofitted and rebuilt for 2009. Next showings due for Wonder-con 2009, Fanime 2009, San Diego Comic-con 2009, and Dragon-con 2009.
