That braid is so long and made of so much pain its not even funny. Seriously.

The wig and the shoulder armour are tied for the hardest parts of this costume. The wig itself took an entire day just to construct, which doesn't even begin to include all of the time spent trying to figure out how I was going to put together Hikaru's absolutely ridiculous hair. And it was my first time 1)using extensions/creating wefts 2)sewing said wefts into a wig and 3)actually chopping up a wig/putting in bangs (this wig actually began its life as a femme fatale from amphigory).

I'd also really like to find a picture where my wig DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT IS GLOWING. Because its not that bright. Sort of.
