Yes, I'm randomly titling all these pictures after lines from the movie.

More Seashell progress before I go to bed for the night! I guess these are a little shy of 3/4 done. One side, the clay is finished but needs to be sanded, and possibly a little bit of fine-tuning on sculpting. the other side, I've nearly filled in the gaps in the glue, and should be moving on to the top layers of clay shortly. I'm hoping to have all this messy sculpting and sanding done by the end of the week, so I can go in and get my nails done on Saturday and not have to dirty them up again.

I am really, really shocked that these things are still staying up reasonably well with just the one elastic strap. in the end if they're tooooo heavy, I may attach clear shoulder straps for conventions, which I can cover with hair from the wig. For On Location photoshoots, I'd remove the clear straps.
