So...
Xemnas must have announced that they'd be assigning their ranking based on whoever completed the task of sewing their coat the quickest.
And Xigbar just slap-jacked something adequate together even though he had a really interesting concept of "pattern" and was probably pretty darn proud of his funky coat in any case. (Or at least would have been actually proud, had he a heart. I bet he flaunted it anyway out of old habit.) But when you control universal vectors directly, patterns seem kinda like a waste of time.
And that's how you get to be #2.

That's my theory.


I now have a bunch of new nice pretty solo shots of my Xig (well 'pretty' is subjective in his case, but the photos themselves are nice anyway) so I'll stick one here up every so often.
Thus now I can be more than a vague mass of a dozen pixels in a giant group shot photo, and now you too can be subjected to the absurdity that is Xigbar's coat, which is needlessly weird even by Org XIII standards.
