Okay, well it's the middle of the night right now, but I'm too excited about these to wait. I finally have some awesome shots of my Lloyd...who I've remade completely 4 times over 8 years (in between other stuff, of course.) I can't even begin to fathom how my own construction techniques as well as the cosplay scene as a whole has evolved over that time, and I am so pleased to see that the photographic documentation too is improving right alongside as well. Thank you, Amanda, for all the hard work you've put in to help so many cosplayers. We expect that in another 8 years to have personal rotating holograms, just so you know.

The location is SushiSamba Rio, the downtown Chicago branch of their chain that sadly is not frequented by cosplayers (unlike their other restaurants that probably make fun of Chicago for that fact.) This is from a small photo party we organized last minute with some other local cosplayers, making use of the upstairs private bar during the day.

These shots had the bonus of being when I (and Amanda, too) slept properly the night before - plus proper time to do my lip make-up and a chance to fix the wig = pictures that I like! A lot. I don't know how I'm going to choose, but they'll be replacing all my old shots, I think.

Here's a "standard" shot first up, just so I can document the costume correctly. After years of waiting! More epic shots to come. ^_^
