I so love that we did FF1 at Ohayocon. Just having an almost full group made my little gamer girl squee with ecstasy. Also, it was great having the artitic freedom to do whatever we wanted with the costume, since they were based on 8-bit sprites! I really love how the Red Mage turned out, made by the wonderful SailorGaia.

I guess the only complaint I had while wearing these, was all the 8-bit theatre comments we got. I love 8-bit theatre, but it's kind of jarring when a parody of something gets more recognition than the original. We kept having to tell everyone, no, we're actually just cosplaying the real characters from FF1 XD
