This was a glass window in front of an indoor pool at the Drury. Elemental handed me a flash and told me to light my face. I waited patiently for someone to come and leave the pool so I could go in. It was during a cheerleading convention.

All. Of. The. Cheerleaders. Were. In. The. Pool.

And there was a rule that you had to take your shoes off. Stupidly, I left my socks on, and had to walk around with wet feet all day.

The cheerleaders and their moms all watched me pad across the pool and take up position at the window, and watched as I plastered myself against the glass and obediently lit my face for the camera.

It was a really weird day.
