The background is real. :) We made use of only natural lighting (dwindling sunlight in this case), and the blurring is from the camera lens, not editing. It took a while for me to get the right shot to match the image I had in my head for Li and Tianzi's signature pose. I'm very grateful Ysabel and Rick were so patient with me. I was hoping to capture a cinematic feel - like a still shot from a movie.
