I got the rest of the center piece cut out today, and i started cutting out the first side of the cover. I need to add the second layer that goes in between these two parts but i'm getting there :3

first pic, is the center and the two halves side by side.
the one under it is what it looks like, and how they fit together from the reverse side.
The top right is what it looks like when the blade is going to be closed, and the bottom right is what it'll look like when it's open.

everythings taped up right now too because I actually ran out of hot glue in working on the witcher sword >>;
