and now for something a little different (...but still primarily purple. Darnit), a new photo from this past weekend! I decided to drag one of my 2004 costumes out and fix it up. Meet Yuri Sakazaki of King of Fighters fame. ^_^ I completely re-made the gi (robe) for it. the first version was too big, lumpy, and lacked some of the important details (like the side slits). Four hours of late-night work and I completely re-worked it, using the original pieces even. ^^ Originally, I used my real hair, but it's shoulder length now, so that's kind of impossible. So, while it's not perfect, I borrowed my Sophie wig. This was actually REALLY comfortable, so rather than socking it away again, I might actually pick up a new wig, embellish the gloves a bit, and wear it some more. ^^
