A gorgeous shot taken by Andy on Sunday, this was the costume I competed in the masquerade in with 7 others for the Best Group Advanced Craftsmanship award. I'm so proud of everyone!

This dress was constructed with a corset pattern for the bodice, which was completely boned and double layered with interfacing and thick linen. The skirt was patterned and hand gathered to look similar to the ending dress she wore: http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff18/Etaru_Kaumoto/emeraude006.jpg. The entire dress was made of white bridal satin, and the white artbook lilies I carried around were also wrapped in the same fabric. The armor and gems were actually made by MyKasou (our Zagato) out of plastic, craft foam, and cast resin, I simply put them together and added pearls on the bottom. The wig was purchased from an Ebay seller that I was rather pleased with. :)
