Wig styled for Jose.

I've always wanted to style a Yami Yugi wig, especially since Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of my favorite anime, so I was so happy to get this order. Nevertheless, this wig sucked my soul x_x.

The customer requested that I make the wig look as "natural" as possible, so I took out the lightning bolts and instead put huge curls in the bangs, and left the bangs hanging down instead of having one of them stick out. I also hand-colored all the black in to give gradient effect that looks a little more natural than if I put in black extensions or a black wig. Long live jumbo Sharpies.

Do note that Yami's hair is sometimes red in manga and some art, yet pink in the anime. Red was simply the customer's preference.

I would have chosen a thicker wig to start with, but due to availability/shipping time issues with various suppliers this wasn't possible. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, though. And yes, I did ship this wig...with magic.

Base wig: Kelly in Red, extensions in Red and #25 (from Cosworx)
Styling time: 15 hours (I honestly sort of lost count on this one...x_x)
