Ahh!!! This is my original design steampunk costume for the Pembroke Tea Party this year. I was so excited to finally make an original design and go all out with it. It feels like it's been so long since I did an intricate costume. The main inspiration for the outfit was actually from 14th century surcotes and not victorian garments. I used a lot of brads and hex nuts in the dress. Overall I am EXTREMELY happy with it! I even got to show the costume in Providence Fashion Week!
I am pictured with the lovely Lauren, who looked fabulous in her draped skirt and adorable spats! Our outfits coordinated very nicely!
