I can't believe I've cosplayed for 7 years and never uploaded a BATHROOM PROGRESS PICTURE. So I decided to pop that cherry, aw yeah!!!! Anyway, I've never seen these versions of Rei/Asuka cosplayed before. I'm making Rei for a good friend of mine for Expo this year. :)

The costumes are from a series of gashapon (vending machine) figurines of Gainax heroines that came out a few years ago. I love how their outfits mimic the style of a gashapon machine. SO CUTE. T_T
