Uh, oh. Looks like Count D might be plotting something with Suioh…

Here’s a closeup of the phoenix prop I recently made, based on volume 9 of PSOH. ^_^ It’s mostly silk shantung in rainbow shades. There’s decorative machine stitching on the body and all the feathers were made by satin stitching and then cutting away the excess fabric. The wings are supported by needlepoint canvas and wire and can flap when I move the bird. The fan on the bird’s head is made of wire and Swarovski crystals; the eyes are also crystal. The tail feathers are much longer but got cut off in this photo.
