3" to 4" diameter PVC expansion

About a dozen self-drilling screws

The flat end of the drain cap is screwed to the sole of the boot.

We also cut a piece of wood to fit inside the PVC expansion and be flush with the bottom. This provided a flat surface for walking on. It wasn't necessary, but made me feel better about uneven paving.
