Fantastics hooves !! I'm planning a dk draenei costume for this winter and i'd love to have the same result with hooves as yours. In this picture is your hooves the ones you used pvc tubes or the ones you used wood pateform?

PVC. When they're that tall, wood becomes too heavy. Learned that through trial and error. Just remember that the taller you make them, the wider you have to make the base for balance. And they do require balance testing. If you can't balance, you need to make them shorter or make the base wider.

Amazing! What did you use for the tail and horns?

Aleze replied on 11-10-2009 at 03:38 PM:

The tail was this foam pipe thing from the hardware store. I cut strips out of it to make it tapered, taped, glued, and covered it with fabric. I can't see making a better tail.

The horns I sculpted out of dense foam. It took way too long and I think I would have been better off using paper clay.

I saw your draenei costume some time ago. It's beautiful and you look so cute in it. I wish I had the patience to make armor.

How in the world did you manage to walk in those hoofs? That's fantastic!
