Myself looking all superior and shiny on Halloween night.
You can see a little more of the ( incomplete ) detail here...the horrible beads sewn on little balls of tulle which are then sewn to the ribbon thats sewn on to the sleeves....the netting on the sleeves ( I could NOT for the life of me find one wide enough...or black for that matter...who DOESNT sell black netting during Halloween!?!? ), the mesh layer with the red beads...
The sleeves will be totally remade before the movie comes out since i was an uber-fail and researched them AFTER I made them ( wtf. )...
But overall I think it has a pretty regal look to it! Woo!

Simply amazing! That must have been a very tricky costume to make. I might be venturing into making a period costume very soon (Civil War Era ballgown...lord help me)...but that is still a mighty "might". The patience and time you must have put into this costume really shows. Lovely work.

You look fabulous, and I love that wig! Would you believe that I had the same issue finding black netting? I knew going into it that the netting I found would not be large enough, but I didn't want to be terribly picky- I was NOT going to hand knot embroidery thread just before Halloween! It looks like you remained more faithful to some of the costume's details than I did, and it really looks awesome!
