Decus and his new iron maiden. The previous one (the black one in older photos) was debuted and retired at Sac-Anime 2009 in August. It was secured mostly through hot glue and nails, which did not work well as we learned. The nails cannot grip cardboard and hot glue remelts in the harsh California summers (especially when it sits in a Jeep all day). Needless to say, my sister and I demolished it and made this one. Much stronger, heavier, more accurate and lastly...no hot glue!
Version 2.0 has now since been retired as well. I decided to remake it, allowing it to open. I used a lot of craft foam on this one, which I learned is near impossible to repair unless you remove the foam, which I couldn't without damaging the iron maiden, so I switched to wood instead for the third version.

@ PaxCM - Thanks ^_-
@ Earthychan - It isn't *too* heavy. I'd estimate it at around 20-25lbs, but since it is only held on by my right hand, it does get pretty heavy after a while when you're walking all over the place for 8+ hours. x_ X
