starting Griffith's paint job

starting Griffith's paint job
Yui
Because I have to put all work on Griffith on hold til at least March, I'm going to put a small preview here so people don't think I've forgotten about him.
Which I'm being accused of.
And it's totally untrue.
And now because you've doubted me, I'm going to ramble hardcore now!
XP
I don't want to give too much away right now....but I *think* he might be making an appearance at next ACen. ^_-

Anyway...now I'm about to ramble...

The mini-sample here is of an upper cuisse, the scale sections attached functionally by brads on the edges (where the rivets on the real design are anyway.) Very flexible which is useful for walking. ^_^; The kneecap is not attached yet...it's just sitting there for reference. Also, I decided to not dremel down the edges unlike most of my other armor projects because I wanted a very sharp severe kind of look. BTW, these crazy shapes would be impossible without the aid of a heat gun.
