So it's taken me like a month of weekends but I totally just finished Sogyo no Kotowari today. I would have finished yesterday but the paint was having issues with wanting to dry. Handle wrapping is a little sloppy, IMHO, but man oh man I'm still all manner of proud of these swords.

This is excellent! I have one question - are the dangling "amulets" free to move around or will you secure them to the rope so they're evenly spaced for pictures (and to prevent them from damaging each other)? Silly bleach and its lack of physics! XD

They're just tacked in place right now, but since the thread keeps breaking I'm going to go in with some invisible thread and sew them down real nice and tight.
It's a sword that defies common sense- it doesn't have to adhere to physics.
